A few years ago, I updated a famous quote by Peter F. Drucker for the pandemic age:

Whenever you see a successful business, you see the result of many decisions to remain nimble and responsive instead of comfortable and complacent.

As the pandemic effects continue to ripple through our industries and our nation, remaining nimble and responsive seems ever more important to me. Clean energy, decarbonization, sustainability objectives. Seeking new and emerging markets for existing products while innovating to capture new opportunities in existing ones. Weathering the market forces that stretch supply chains (and our patience with them) while material and labor costs have, at times, radical effects on the bottom line. It seems safe to say: 2022 has not been a walk in the park.

Fortunately, resources exist to help you learn about technologies you can leverage for your business. One such resource is the 2022 RETA National Conference, which will be held November 8-11 in Reno. In addition to industrial refrigeration training, the event includes four days of exhibition, workshops, and hands-on sessions. And of course, there’s the Process Heating & Cooling Show on May 24-25, 2023, at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago. A technical conference program and exhibition provide an intensive two-day program to connect, learn and grow. (Learn more at heatingcoolingshow.com.)
