United Kingdom-based Babcock Wanson Group reaffirmed its commitment to providing solutions for the energy transition of Europe’s manufacturing industry by acquiring Norwegian company Parat and PBS Power Equipment of the Czech Republic.
Parat develops, manufactures and distributes electric boilers, primarily in Europe. The company offers solutions for electrical grid regulations and the decarbonization of industrial processes like food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and paper manufacturing. Its electrode boilers enable electrical capacities to be converted into thermal energy (hot water or high pressure steam).
PBS Power Equipment manufactures industrial boilers and burners. It provides customized energy solutions to help manufacturers optimize their energy consumption and limit their environmental impact. The company has operations across Eastern Europe.
Babcock Wanson is an international provider of industrial boilers and process heating equipment. It also offers training services.
