Boiler manufacturer Thermogenics Inc. acquired Plains Mechanical Services of Sioux City, Iowa. Plains provides boiler sales, service installation and repair of boilers, pressure vessels, piping systems and industrial combustion applications.

“Our partnership with Plains enables Thermogenics to extend its North American service and boiler solutions reach to better serve our food and beverage, healthcare and manufacturing customers in the U.S. north-central region,” said Ross Garland, CEO of Thermogenics.

Thermogenics, a lifecycle solution provider for industrial boilers serving food and beverage, pharmaceutical and other industries, operates from its head office in Aurora, Ontario, and maintains sales and service operations in Jacksonville, Fla.; Orlando, Fla.; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Ottawa, Ontario.

Plains Mechanical Services will continue to operate within the industry and serve customers under the Plains Mechanical Services brand.
