Valmet will supply a complete tissue production line – including stock preparation and automation system – to Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC. It will be installed at the company’s mill in the Kaluga region in Russia, with startup planned for the first quarter of 2023.

When it comes to heavy industrial operations, large cooling towers — often the size of multi-story buildings — are required to cool processes and keep high temperatures in check. 

Valmet will supply an Advantage DCT100HS tissue production line, including an automation package, to Papelera San Andrés de Giles in Argentina. The line will help the company meet the demand for tissue products for the Argentinian market. Startup is planned for the second half of 2018.

Valmet will supply a multifuel power boiler and auxiliary process equipment to Kipas Holding's greenfield paper mill in Turkey. The equipment will provide steam for a paper machine currently under construction and will also produce electricity. Startup is scheduled for March 2020.

Valmet will supply a waste-fired boiler to Shanying Huazhong Paper's paper mill in Jingzhou, Hubei province, China. The waste-to-energy plant will supply electricity for the paper mill and allow it to utilize all of its mill waste in energy production.

Papcel, a Czech Republic-based papermaking machinery manufacturer, is employing Exergen’s noncontract infrared sensors in its Softcalender paper machine to ensure optimal operational efficiency and paper quality.

Valmet will supply a complete tissue production line, including an automation package, to Crown Paper Mill (CPM) in Abu Dhabi.

The annual shutdown of Klabin S.A. Monte Alegre paper mill in Brazil was successfully completed by Valmet.
