A maker of brazed assemblies in the United Kingdom has expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of a new vacuum brazing furnace. The new furnace will be comparable to the largest brazing furnaces already installed at Wall Colmonoy Ltd., with dimensions of 55 by 50 by 40".

A spring session of modern furnace brazing school will be held May 7-9 at Wall Colmonoy’s Aerobraze Brazing Engineering Center in Cincinnati.

An online document that defines “the baseline knowledge and experience required to be considered competent to perform” furnace brazing in aerospace special process manufacturing was released.
