A government contractor will use a custom drum heater to heat eight 55-gallon drums. The hot box, manufactured and supplied by Lewco Inc., is steam heated and rated for a maximum operating temperature of 300°F.
A petrochemical company, as part of its manufacturing process, will utilize four steam-heated drum cabinets to heat material to 200°F (93°C) prior to mixing and blending with other ingredients. Supplied by Lewco Inc., each cabinet can hold up to 32 55-gallon drums and is heated using live steam.
Drum oven is steam heated and rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250°F (121°C). The oven is designed to heat four 55-gallon drums and has a rear-mounted steam heater box with a high efficiency circulating fan to evenly distribute airflow throughout the workspace.
Every Sahara drum/tote oven can be designed to meet Class A requirements. (NFPA 86 classifies ovens and furnaces in which flammable volatiles or combustible materials are present in the work space as Class A.
