Atlas Copco completed the acquisition of HHV Pumps Pvt. Ltd., which designs and manufactures vacuum pumps and systems for applications used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.  

The 2.5 and 3” line vacuum conveyors convert hose, tube or pipe into an inline conveying system for materials up to 900°F (482°C). The air-operated conveyors are available with smooth ends to fit into hose or tube and be secured with a hose clamp.

No. 1050 is a 400°F (204°C), large-capacity bench oven used for vacuum bagging. Workspace dimensions of this oven measure 36 x 48 x 36”, and 6.6 kW are installed in Incoloy-sheathed tubular heating elements. 

The components of the Easy Clean vacuum pump and the associated suction cups, inserts and accessories tolerate splashing water spray and humid environments. 

An environmental vacuum/temperature space simulation system designed for vacuum performance of 1.0 x 10^-6 Torr within two hours will be put to use by a logistics company.

Unlike hot air and tray dryers, Guedu is designed to stir the powder under vacuum. This design improves drying time by a factor two to 10 compared to tray dryers, says the manufacturer.

Atlas Copco agreed to acquire the Leybold Vacuum business of Oerlikon Corp. for approximately $514 million.

Condensers are used in power plants to recycle exhaust steam for thermoelectric heating, but they also are relied on to maximize turbine efficiency by maintaining a proper vacuum.
