Several C-level executives offer their perspectives as manufacturers of process heating equipment, components and supplies. In that vein, I offer my own view from the top of our team at Process Heating.

Tremaine Hartranft was promoted to director of technical sales for bakery and snack-food production equipment maker Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), Robesonia, Pa.

Thermal Product Solutions LLC (TPS), a global manufacturer of thermal-processing equipment, appointed Greg Jennings to the position of president and CEO.

Andreas Kratzer, Ph.D., was named president and CEO of Bühler Aeroglide, Cary, N.C. Kratzer previously served as managing director for the Bühler AG, Pasta and Noodles Business Unit in Uzwil, Switzerland. Bühler Aeroglide manufactures dryers, ovens, roasters, toasters and hot air expansion systems for the food, feed and industrial product markets.

Huber USA, a subsidiary of temperature control systems maker Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau AG, named Michael Nock its director of technical service. Nock previously worked as part of the customer support team at Huber headquarters in Offenburg, Germany.

Derrick Goddard was named president of Viking Pump Inc., Cedar Falls, Iowa. Goddard has served as interim president since July 2016 in conjunction with his role as general manager of Viking Pump Canada.

Yokogawa Meters & Instruments Corp. will change its name to Yokogawa Test & Measurement Corp. on October 1. Yokogawa Test & Measurement will continue to provide measurement solutions, including those for the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), for the power, plant maintenance and optical communications markets.

Eurotherm by Schneider Electric appointed Steve Schroeder to senior business development manager overseeing products PAC and E+PLC. He will work directly with Eurotherm business development managers in heat treatment. 

APTech Group, a global manufacturer of blended solid-concentrate water additive products for treating cooling towers, boilers and closed-loop systems, appointed Matt Horine to managing director.
