Process Heating and Process Cooling, the world’s most read online industrial heating and cooling engineering resources are calling on all innovators to share with us your ideas on innovating this industry! We are looking for ideas that aim to increase efficiency, and improve upon!

We will be announcing the first annual Innovation Award at the 2022 Process Heating & Cooling Show on June 15-16, 2022, in Rosemont, IL. 

The award winner (individual or company) will receive recognition in both the Process Cooling and Process Heating magazines, websites, and enewletters, as well as a plaque, and a one-time $1,000 scholarship donation in the winner's name to the engineering school of their choice! Here at Process Cooling and Heating we believe in supporting our industrial ecosystem and recognizing innovation. Thank you and we look forward to your innovations!

  • Any individual currently working in or retired from a professional role where his or her primary responsibilities include(d) the implementation and operation of industrial heating and/or cooling equipment/materials used in the process industries can be nominated. This includes end users, owners, operators, employees, contractors, consultants of industrial process facilities, industrial thermal equipment/supplies manufacturers, and contractors.
  • Award will recognize innovation application of technical expertise or experience with industrial process heating and cooling equipment, projects or efforts to reduce costs, improve thermal processing efficiency and increase safety.
  • Nominations can include industrial experience, engineering experience, unusual assignments or projects, memberships in technical and other organizations, education and licensure (if applicable), service to the industry or their community.
  • All candidates are reviewed and scored by a board of quality and manufacturing experts representing various disciplines related to industrial heating and cooling during the manufacturing process.
  • The Process Heating & Cooling Innovation Award will be presented at the 2022 Process Heating & Cooling Show on June 15-16, in Rosemont, Ill.
  • The award recipient will receive a plaque recognizing their accomplishment as well as a $1,000 scholarship in their name, along with the Process Heating & Cooling Show, to a school/educational facility of the winner's choice.
  • The recipient of the Process Heating & Cooling Innovation Award will be profiled in Process Heating and Process Cooling magazines. The individual must be available for an interview and photographs.
  • A nominator can nominate more than one nominee, and a candidate can self-nominate. To fill out another form, click here.
