Available in screw-plug, flange and over-the-side styles, immersion heaters have magnesium oxide heating elements; NEMA moisture- or explosion-resistant enclosures; copper, steel or Incoloy sheaths; welded construction; and operating temperatures to 1,600oF (863oC). Optional features include thermostatic controls; sheathed materials options such as Carpenter 20, Monel, Inconel or titanium; passivated elements; and plugs/flanges for use in pure or deionized water, chemical or other special processes.
