Wenger Manufacturing, Sabetha, KS, and EnWave Corp., Port Coquitlam, BC, have agreed to jointly design, manufacture and sell equipment for the application of vacuum microwave drying technology.
The agreement stipulates that a team of EnWave and Wenger engineers be formed to co-develop the units. Also, EnWave has shipped to Wenger a pilot 20 kW vacuum microwave dryer for Wenger engineers to begin the transfer of current design knowledge. Likewise, Wenger has shipped to EnWave a Series VII air dryer.
Wenger will act as the principle manufacturer.
