Ciscan Industries Ltd., Edmonton, Alberta, has combined with DriQuik Indus-tries, Greensburg, IN, to create a large gas- and electric-based infrared equipment manufacturer.
In his address to the employees of both organizations, Harold A. Roozen, president and CEO of Ciscan Industries, stressed that this action should be viewed as a joining of complementary
organizations. According to Roozen, "Combining the in-frared gas and electric product lines, along with the research and development capabilities of both organizations, will re-sult in significant growth op-portunities for the company."
The new company will join Ciscan's production of explosionproof catalytic heaters and powder-coating systems with DriQuik's infrared ceramic heating, quartz tube heating and T3 electric curing systems. New test center facilities will be available at both the Edmonton, AB, and Greensburg, IN, locations.
