An alternative to chemical refrigerants, the air/water heat exchanger can be integrated with an existing cool water supply source or chiller system. The device regulates temperature by absorbing heat inside the enclosure through heat exchanger fins. The internal loop cools the heated water, and the process begins again. A solenoid valve regulates refrigerant flow from 68 to 130oF (20 to 54.4oC) and temperature is maintained through an internal thermostat with double switch points.
