Ceramic Tube Burner

High-momentum ceramic tube burner is designed for process temperatures up to 2,500oF (1,371 oC). With a silicon carbide outer tube and stainless steel alloy inner firing tube, it is available in nominal capacity sizes of 650,000 and 1.5 million BTU/hr. The burner incorporates two-stage combustion for low NOX, and specially designed nozzles provide cool, NOX-inhibiting first stage combustion. Final combustion occurs in the second stage area, where combustion products exit at velocities of more than 400 ft/sec. Direct-spark ignition eliminates the need for pilots and allows flexibility in designing the control system. Full modulation, gas-only modulation, high-low, on-off and pulse-firing are possible.
