IPC is seeking papers on design, materials, processes and equipment for printed circuit boards and electronics assembly, manufacturing and test. Bannockburn, Ill.-based IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries has issued the call for papers for 2006 IPC Printed Circuits Expo, APEX and Designers Summit. The conference and exhibition will be held February 8-10, 2006, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Those interested are asked to provide a 300-word abstract that summarizes original and previously unpublished work covering case histories, research and discoveries. Papers should describe significant results from experiments, emphasize new techniques, discuss trends of interest and contain technical and/or appropriate test results. The abstracts are due June 3.

Also, individuals interested in organizing a technical session, panel discussion or forum, which require recruiting three to four speakers from different companies, should submit a proposed topic and tentative paper titles and speaker names by June 3.
