The single-stage centrifugal pump is designed for high temperature process, heat transfer fluids and high temperature hot water applications.

Designed for fast response, the sensor mounts directly on the combustion process to provide continuous measurement of oxygen and combustibles. With a separate control unit, the analyzer is suitable for flue gas streams up to 3,200 degrees F (1,760 degrees C). It is designed to be used for process heaters, reformers and power or steam boilers with rapidly changing loads. Minimum combustibles range is 0 to 2,000 ppm.

FLOWMETER AND TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER FOR CHILLERSCalPoint vortex shedding flowmeter and temperature transmitter measures and verifies water flows in chiller applications. It helps provide consistency in chilled water flows by efficiently measuring both water flow rate and temperature. It can verify the flow and temperature from the return branches and give a pulse out to totalize chilled water use. Repeatability is +/-1 percent of actual flow and +/-0.25 percent of actual temperature. Accuracy is +/-2 percent of actual flow.

ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEMSSecondary and tertiary heat recovery systems can help reduce operating costs. Heat recovery through the use of air-to-air heat exchangers or air-to-thermal fluid systems can be added to equipment to capture heat and return it to the process. Steam or hot/chilled water can be supplied through the addition of waste-heat boilers or absorption chillers. In areas where building heat is required, water/glycol systems can be installed to capture heat from the process and use it to preheat building makeup air.
SELF-CLEANING WATER FILTERFilter protects heat exchangers and prevent clogging of nozzles, tubes and other narrow passages by removing dirt particles down to micron size, of any specific gravity, from once-through and recirculating cooling water systems. Line-pressure powered, the filter cleans itself without external power and does not interrupt system flow. It installs in any position and is available for flow rates from 10 to 10,000 gal/min.
PUMP HANDLES HIGH-TEMPERATURE FLUIDSMPH Series is engineered for low-flow, high-head, high-temperature applications. The close-coupled, sealless, magnetically driven pump provides efficient fluid handling at temperatures up to 536 degrees F (280 degrees C) and does not require cooling water. It has a finned frame adapter for effective heat dissipation. Using 1 to 5 hp motors depending on the model, the pump handles flows to 150 gal/min and heads to 190'.

BOLT-ON CONICAL TRANSITIONSHeat exchangers include bolt-on conical transitions that ease access to the core and improve strength. In most applications, the simple bolt flange can reduce labor costs and downtime for inspection or cleaning by 50 percent. Unit pictured passed a 60 psig pressure test. It is being used to cool pneumatic conveying air that is transporting synthetic material to equipment down line for further processing.
HIGH TEMPERATURE REFRACTORY COATINGPyro-Paint 634-AL is a two-part, 99 percent alumina-filled ceramic coating system used to bond, coat and seal refractory fiber boards and other shapes used applications to 3,200 degrees F (1,760 degrees C). The material helps prevent wear and oxidation of refractory components and increases heat reflectivity to improve thermal efficiency and enable temperatures to ramp up more rapidly.

FURNACE DOOR GASKETSFabricated by skilled craftsmen, furnace door gaskets are made from high-quality refractory-grade industrial textiles and low thermal-conductivity filler materials. FDG-1 is a combination of vermiculite-impregnated fiberglass and a ceramic fiber blanket filler. It is suitable for applications with temperatures as high as 1,200°F (649°C).

CONICAL STEAM STERILIZATION UNITSterilization of herbs, spices, powders and other food/chemical products is accomplished utilizing steam as the sterilizing medium. The conical mixer-dryer unit ensures optimal removal of pathogenic organisms. The process is carried out in a fully contained vessel, so it provides a clean, safe process that does not require the end products to carry special labeling. Sterilization system is a batch process with short cycle times.
WATER CONDITIONERThe Superior Water Conditioner process controls the formation of scale deposition and corrosion without the use of chemicals. Because chemicals are not used with this system, discharged water is pollution-free.

The soft, flexible material conforms to irregular surfaces without scratching, and its woven carbon fiber construction allows it to be reused. It will not dry out like heat-blocking putties or gels, or be damaged by exposure to heat or flame up to its full rated operating temperature.
TERMINAL PUMPSSelf-priming with suction lift capability, high capacity pumps can be mounted above the liquid level for unloading barges and tankers. Because they operate equally well in either direction, the same pump may be used for both loading and unloading or line stripping. Terminal applications include petroleum products, vegetable oils, animal fats and oils, chemicals, asphalt, molasses, alcohols, fertilizers and many other bulk liquids.
FIBERGLASS EQUIPMENT INSULATIONMicrolite XG is composed of borosilicate glass fibers that are incombustible and nonhygroscopic. The blanket offers high thermal efficiency, strong tensile strength and a uniform density distribution. The liner will not support fungi or vermin and is unaffected by oil, grease and most acids. In addition, the blanket resists settling, breakdown, sagging from vibration and damage from impact. The equipment insulation forms easily around corners and curved surfaces and is readily cut in die-cut presses or with a knife.

DATALOGGERS FOR EQUIPMENT RUNTIME MONITORINGHobo U9 motor on/off and Hobo U9 state loggers provide a simple way to record up to 43,000 equipment on/off cycle or state changes. The dataloggers use Windows-based software to convert the recorded data into time- and date-stamped graphs. The data can demonstrate how efficiently equipment is running or help users identify cycling problems.

HOSE ASSEMBLYPage-Flex system utilizes a stainless steel helix wire mechanically fixed to each end fitting, providing end-to-end electrical continuity and enhancing the stability of the hose. This design also offers increased flexibility, reduced minimum bend radius, and increased kink and vacuum resistance. These features increase the safety margins of the hose assembly, especially when working at elevated pressures or vacuum and temperatures.

HIGH TEMPERATURE BLANKETSuperwool blanket is designed specifically for high temperature applications. Features include thermal stability, low heat storage, good thermal-insulating performance and thermal shock immunity. Composed of alkaline earth silicate (AES) wool, the blanket has a basic fiber form. The fiber diameter, shot content, fiber length and form can be altered as required to achieve desired properties for specific applications such as laboratory ovens and high temperature gasketing.
BOILER FEED-PUMP CONTROL VALVEMulti-Z is designed to handle high-pressure drop applications where entrained solids are a problem and is suited for system startup and boiler-feed water recirculation. The control valve has a multi-stage trim design that eliminates cavitation and provides extended trim life. The addition of a venturi outlet nozzle provides further trim and seat protection from high velocity, cavitation and flashing. Its linear multi-stage plug design provides high rangeability and throttling resolution. The valve can be installed so the flow assists either opening or closing. Available in sizes from 1 to 4" and in pressure classes from ANSI 300 to 2500, the valve accommodates diaphragm or piston actuators.
BALL VALVESSeries 726 in ductile iron and Series 726S in CF8M stainless steel are two-piece, end-entry valves with a floating ball for lower torque requirements. NACE compliant, the valves have maximum working pressures of 1,000 psi for 1.5 to 3" (40 to 80 mm), and 800 psi for 4" (100 mm) and 6" (150 mm) sizes. A chrome-plated carbon steel ball and stem are connected to a virgin TFE seat in the Series 726; a 316 stainless stem and ball is standard for the 726S.
CONDENSATE PUMP WITH HIGH PRESSURE RATINGPivotrol PTF-HP is engineered for dependable steam system condensate recovery in rapidly cycling process environments and under elevated pressure and temperature conditions. The pressure-powered condensate pump is designed as a solution to excessive maintenance and energy consumption, heat exchanger stall, waterhammer and erratic steam system performance. Pump technology replaces pins and linkages with pivots, which reduces friction and wear.
