DOE /OIT and HI will collaborate on initiatives that will improve pumping system efficiency.

Hydraulic Institute (HI) and Department of Energy, Office of Industrial Technologies (DOE/OIT) have signed an allied partner agreement in which the two organizations will collaborate on initiatives that promote improved pumping system efficiency among pump manufacturers and end users. By joining forces, HI and DOE/OIT will be better able to help those companies willing to promote energy efficiency do so more easily.

As a first step to advance the goals of the initiative, HI is promoting DOE/ OIT's energy-saving materials and training opportunities through the Institute's new web site as well as via meetings, mailings and newsletters. Pump users and producers can get more information at www.pumps.org.
