Designed for valves, pumps, meters and instruments used in food and pharmaceutical processing, bolt-on aluminum jackets accept a range of fluid heating media and electrical energy. Electrically heated jackets are offered with UL recognition for specific hazardous locations. Jackets may be steam lanced, and they are not affected by typical germicidal solutions frequently used in plant cleaning procedures. They are designed to be removed easily from the process component and reinstalled to accommodate rigid sanitation procedures when total surface exposure is mandatory.
