Watt-Flex Series can be manufactured with a groove along the outside of the sheath to accommodate a needle-type thermocouple. Its thermocouple can be replaced independently of the heater and is movable, allowing temperature measurement at any point along the heater sheath. The continuous-coil design means the heaters have no cold spots between sections, producing a uniform temperature profile along the heater sheath. They are offered in standard diameters of 0.25, 0.375, 0.5, 0.625, 0.6875, 0.75, and 1" as well as 8, 10, 12, 12.5, 15, 16, and 20 mm; and in lengths from 1.25 to 72".
