Rockford, Ill.-based Eclipse Inc., a manufacturer of heat processing equipment and services, has given more than $35,000 to hurricane relief. Shortly after the hurricane, chairman and CEO Douglas C. Perks announced the company's one-to-one match of personal contributions. The company and employees also chose to cancel the company's holiday party and donate those funds to hurricane relief. Eclipse has many customers along the Gulf Coast who were affected by the disaster.

Paratherm Corp., West Conshohocken, Pa., expanded its telephone sales and engineering team by adding Jed Seybold. James Sovik Vulcanium Corp.
Northbrook, Ill.-based Vulcanium Corp. has named James Sovik to handle outside sales and design for the company's anodizing and plating units. Sovik will serve as a liaison between the sales and engineering departments and OEMs.

Management changes at Palo Alto, Calif.-based Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) include naming Hank Courtright as vice president of the environment and energy analysis sector. Courtright previously served as vice president of the generation sector. Chris Larsen, previously the managing director of EPRI International Inc., will serve as vice president of the generation sector. A search for a new president of EPRI International is underway.
