Ventura 130 is capable of delivering the same drying capacity as a standard fluid bed dryer while using less energy, says the manufacturer, because almost all latent heat is captured and reused with this fluid bed dryer and cooler design. In most applications of 4 percent moisture and above, the unit will use approximately 1,200 BTU/pound of water evaporated or less. The higher the input moisture, the less BTUs used per pound of water evaporated. The unit uses two exhaust airstreams.
