Field instrument analyzer and controls manufacturer Yokogawa Corp. of America, Sugar Land, Texas, has added a local service and support program through its global response center. Customers can call (800) 524-7377 or send an e-mail describing the problems to firstname.lastname@example.org, a dedicated e-mail address for its service group. Questions can be product or application-related. For those submitted via e-mail, a confirmation of receipt with a case number will be returned via e-mail, and a technical support specialist will be assigned to handle the request.
Available technical assistance services include help with installation, startup, instrument programming, operation and maintenance training, spare parts recommendations and troubleshooting technical issues.
