The initial capital cost of an oxidizer can be rapidly eclipsed by the ongoing operating expenses if careful attention is not periodically given to the system. So say Anguil Environmental Systems, Milwaukee, Wis., and the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL), two organizations that are hosting a no-cost webinar in May to explain "Oxidizer Operating Cost Reduction Strategies."

Even for the most efficient, well-maintained oxidizers, there are multiple heat and energy recovery technologies that can further reduce operating costs and fuel consumption, say the webinar organizers. Presenter Mike Scholz, senior project engineer at Anguil, will describe parameters that end-users should know about their oxidizers and identify the best available options for heat and energy recovery.
