Model EC-E protects load circuits connected to a 24 VDC power supply. The electronic circuit breakers combine active electronic current limiting for short-circuit conditions and overload shutdown, ensuring that the breakers respond to fault conditions faster than the power supply. Rated for both hazardous and nonhazardous environments, the circuit breakers have a current limitation of 1.3 to 1.8 times the rated current of the circuit protector. The series comes in three versions. The EC-E1 has an N/O signal contact; the EC-E4 has an N/C signal contact; and the EC-E has reset capability and status output. All have LED indication and are rated for current ranges from 0.5 through 12 A.
