Ipsen Inc. successfully concluded its first series of Spanish Ipsen-U seminars in Hermosillo, where 13 students from three Mexican states attended. The representatives of Honeywell Chihuahua, two divisions of Honeywell Mexicali, Goodrich and Esco Corp. were able to refresh and expand their knowledge of vacuum thermal processing equipment during the classes.
Presented in a casual learning atmosphere by Jim Grann, the seminar topics included proper procedures for operating and maintaining vacuum furnace equipment, real-life operation- and maintenance-related questions, and how to improve energy efficiency and product consistency.
The company plans to hold more courses at its headquarters in Rockford, Ill. The schedule of planned events is at http://www.ipsenusa.com/ipsen-u.shtml.
