Solutia Inc. has been named a St. Louis Top 50 Company by the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association. The award winners represent a cross-section of businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations that form the backbone of St. Louis’ economy.

“Solutia is honored to once again be named a Top 50 company in St. Louis,” says Jeffry N. Quinn, Solutia’s chairman, president and CEO. “Solutia continues to attract top talent by providing the opportunity to work in a high performance culture where employees are challenged to be innovative and creative in their work.”

The Top 50 Award represents “the best of the best in St. Louis for a company’s overall business success and their ability to positively affect the future of the business community,” according to the association. Criteria for selecting winners included growth in number of employees, community enhancement, revenue growth, and acquisitions and expansion or development of facilities.

Solutia, headquartered in St. Louis, specializes in the manufacture of chemical and performance materials such as heat transfer fluids.
