The Hydraulic Institute (HI) and Pump Systems Matter (PSM) will host its 2011 Annual Meeting at the FireSky Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona from February 17-22.

At the annual meeting, technical committees will meet to address industry standards, guidelines and electronic data exchange protocols. In addition, representatives from member, associate member and standards-partnering companies will work together to develop standards and guidelines. The program will include presentations by:
  • J. Paul Dittmann, Ph.D., on best practices in managing a global supply chain.
  • Henri Azibert of A.W. Chesterton Co., on energy-efficient pump sealing systems.
  • Alan Beaulieu of the Institute of Trend Research, on insights into the U.S. and global economy.
  • Greg Case of Pump Design Development & Diagnostics LLC, on simulation tools for environmentally conscious pump design.
The program also will include roundtable discussions by CEOs and supply chain managers. Networking events include dinners, receptions and special events.
