The IRED Infrared Process Heating Seminar will teach attendees the basics of infrared curing as well as explain the benefits of using infrared technologies on a finishing line. Presented by the Infrared Equipment Division of the Industrial Heating Equipment Association, Taylor Mill, Ky., the infrared seminar also will survey infrared applications and the efficiencies achieved as well as automotive case histories. The one-day session is planned for March 19 at the Technology Applications Center at Alabama Power Co. in Calera, Ala.
Seminar faculty includes engineering personnel from the member companies of IRED, and the presentations will be noncommercial and educational. Registrationis $50 and includes the classroom training, hands-on demonstrations in the laboratory, continental breakfast, lunch buffet and IHEA's Infrared Handbook.
Housing is not included. A block of rooms is being held at a discounted rate for seminar attendees at the Candlewood Suites in Alabaster, Ala., until March 1.
