A five-day seminar hosted by Spirax Sarco is intended to help steam plant operators, maintenance personnel and managers as well as those associated with energy conversion learn how to operate, maintain and troubleshoot an industrial boiler safely and efficiently.

The course, scheduled for April 29-May 3, will be held at Spirax Sarco's Blythewood, S.C.-based training facility. Presented by the American Society of Power Engineers, it provides information steam boiler operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Common boiler auxiliaries and operating techniques are covered in detail, and information is included on modern boiler water treatment techniques, construction and repair methods, waste heat recovery, controls, fuels and draft.
