The technical education session lineup for the Powder Coating Show, planned for October 8-10 in St. Louis, will focus on innovation, strategies and solutions.

According to show host Powder Coating Institute, with more than 48 hours and 60 different sessions to choose from, attendees can expect to take away knowledge and how-to that will positively and immediately affect their businesses.

Conference education tracks include:

  1. Preparing the Surface for Powder Coating. In this track, sessions will explore areas such as the history of corrosion, the importance of using test panels, and innovations in pretreatment.
  2. Powder Coatings and Quality Control. This track encompasses the building blocks of powder coating systems and takes on several case studies in selecting powder booths as well as effective small- to mid-volume powder coating systems.
  3. Innovations in Powder Coatings. Sessions in this track include new technologies in powder coating on wood grain and plastics, using UV powder, reducing costs through process evaluations and powders developed for the military.
  4. Optimizing Your Powder Coating Operation. Learn how to grow your operation into one that is fully efficient by attending sessions in this track. Hot topics include modern PC, Six Sigma, integrating robots, effective estimating, hot dip galvanized and aquence and powder.
