Similar in construction to the company’s current self-regulating heat trace, Series Long Line (SLL) is suited for use on extremely long pipelines where high temperature maintenance is critical for freeze protection and viscosity maintenance. The heat trace can be used for continuous circuit lengths up to 7,000' (2,286 m), powered from a single source with output ranges up to 12 W/ft and voltages from 120 to 600 V. Reducing the number of circuits (or power connections) on a long pipeline allows users to reduce costs. The resistance-type heat trace cables can withstand continuous exposure to temperatures up to 450¡F (232¡C). It is suited for use in the alternative fuels, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, food and pulp and paper industries to transfer liquids from the processing plants to the storage facilities, tank farms and transportation vessels.
