Published in 2013 by Woodhead Publishing, the book includes a chapter contributed by Dr. Vahid Ebadat, CEO of Chilworth North America, Princeton, N.J. Dr. Ebadat’s chapter is entitled “Ensuring Process Safety in Food Powder Production: The Risk of Dust Explosion” and discusses dust explosion hazards, laboratory testing to assess explosion characteristics of dust clouds, safety from dust cloud explosion hazards, and specific unit operations.
