Ambrell, Scottsville, N.Y., has sold four Ekoheat 45 kW/100 kHz induction heating systems to a fastener manufacturer. The systems will preheat blanks prior to forging to create fasteners. It is part of an automated system that includes temperature monitoring and datalogging.

The system includes Ambrell's eView induction heating software, which lets the client monitor temperature and log data. It is also capable of monitoring power, frequency and more. The new system also includes optical pyrometers for temperature monitoring and remote pendant stations.
