The company’s line of standard RTD probes uses a 100 Ωplatinum element with alpha equals 0.00385. Sheath material is 304 stainless steel and has a standard length of 5”. RTDs are available with either a standard size plug or Teflon-insulated lead wire. When ordered with a plug, the plug has three prongs. Units with lead wire can be either two or three conductor, and a stainless steel overbraid can be added for durability.
