Devcon R-Flex kit is formulated to repair tears, gouges and holes in styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) heavyweight conveyor belts. Offering abrasion resistance and good adhesion, the urethane compound is easy to mix and cures quickly, so the repaired belt can be back in service 90 min after application. In addition to the resin and curing agent, each kit includes a two-part surface conditioner, mix bucket, wooden paddle, scrub pad, gloves, paper towels and plastic spatula. The resin has a two-year shelf life, mixes as liquid and within minutes becomes non-sagging, self-leveling putty.
