Yokogawa Electric Corp., Sugar Land, Texas, will supply the control system for Unit 5 of the Kamojang geothermal power station in Indonesia. This plant is located in Garut, a city situated approximately 40 km from Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia. Unit 5 will have a 35 MW power generation capacity.

The order was received through Tokyo Denki Sangyo Co. Ltd., a Yokogawa sales agent, and placed by Fuji Electric Co. Ltd., which is responsible for manufacturing and delivering the unit's steam turbine and generator. Yokogawa's subsidiaries, Yokogawa Engineering Asia and Yokogawa Indonesia, will supply monitoring and control equipment for the unit’s steam turbine and auxiliary facilities. The companies will also provide support during the engineering and commissioning phases.

Construction is scheduled for completion by July 2015.
