Do you like to take photograph of industrial subjects? The November photography challenge on Wikimedia Commons presents a great opportunity to share industrial images that show smoke in the public domain — and perhaps get wide use by publications and websites.
For the photography challenge, Wikimedia defines smoke as "a collection of airborne solid and liquid particulates and gases emitted when a material undergoes combustion or pyrolysis, together with the quantity of air that is entrained or otherwise mixed into the mass."
Wikimedia launched the challenges to encourage photographers to take and share photographs in the Wikimedia Commons community, thereby improving the collection of free images available on the site.
