Industrial Heating Equipment Association, Taylor Mills, Ky., will host its oven safety standards and codes seminar on April 21-22 at the Hilton Garden Inn O’Hare in Des Plaines, Ill. The two-day seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of the new NFPA 86 standard for ovens and furnaces, 2015 edition, including updated requirements for many areas of safety. P. Welch Goggins, Jr., who has served as president and CEO of Cleaver-Brooks Inc., Thomasville, Ga., since April 1, 2005, will step down from those positions on March 31 and assume the role of chairman emeritus. Bart Aitken, group president at St. Louis-based Harbour Group, will succeed Goggins as president and CEO. The two men have worked together since Harbour Group’s involvement with Cleaver-Brooks began in late 2012.
     In his role as group president at Harbour Group, Aitken has had operating responsibility over the following Harbour Group portfolio groups: plastic processing equipment, automotive accessories, building components, lubricating systems, home products, and boiler room solutions.

St. Louis-based Watlow opened an on-site medical clinic at its Maryland Heights, Mo., facility. The health and wellness center will be operated by Healthstat for Watlow employees. A licensed nurse practitioner will man the facility with oversight from a local supervising physician. Services offered include acute and episodic care, primary care and coordination, chronic disease management, preventive healthcare and health coaching. It is currently located in a refurbished area of Watlow’s existing facility as the entire facility is renovated into the company’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC). In the new facility, the health and wellness center will have a separate clinic entrance, waiting room, restroom and examination room.

Lancaster, Pa.-based Advanced Cooling Technologies (ACT) Inc. passed the surveillance audit for ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100C. The quality management systems audit, performed by Intertek Testing Services, covers ACT’s advanced thermal technology and custom thermal product manufacturing. 

Industrial pumps and flow controls maker PSG, a Dover Co., appointed Craig Paulson as vice president of human resources for the Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based company.
