Buffalo-based Mokon, a manufacturer of circulating-liquid temperature control systems, will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2015.
“We have built our business on design, quality and customization,” Rob Kennery, general manager at Mokon, says. “We built our business on a better understanding of the marketplace and our close relationship with our customers. We really get to know their application and what they’re looking for in a thermal fluid solution.”
Mokon was founded in 1955 with the introduction of its first water temperature control system for the plastics industry. In the ensuing years, Mokon branched into design and manufacture of hot-oil heat transfer systems, portable and central chillers, pump tanks, blown-film coolers, power and control panels, maintenance products and custom-designed engineered systems.
