Yokogawa Saudi Arabia received orders to deliver distributed control systems for the PP13 and PP14 combined-cycle power plants that Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) is building in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Yokogawa Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of Yokogawa Electric Corp., will deliver the Centum VP integrated production DCS for monitoring, controlling and operating the plants’ gas turbines, heat recovery boilers, steam turbines and electric systems. The DCS also will be used as a plant operator training simulator.

Yokogawa Saudi Arabia will carry out all DCS engineering work and provide support for installation, commissioning and training for operators. Delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2016.
