In response to the needs of food processing and dairy engineering industries, the electronic thermometer series includes new configurations. Digi-Tel offers an easy-to-use field-replaceable battery option to reduce downtime as well as models with stems and fittings designed for direct replacement of industrial liquid-in-glass thermometers. The thermometer meets FDA Rule 21 CFR 113.40 requirements for temperature indicators used in retorts and the requirements of the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance for dairy applications. With a temperature range of -70 to 750ºF (-60 to 400ºC), it includes a PC-based calibration software tool that allows the user to quickly and easily test accuracy in the field and adjust the number of significant digits on the display.
