The range of kiln furniture is made from special, high-performance formulations of HalSic silicon carbide (SiC) and Alsint alumina. Products made from SiC include fuel bars, beams, plates, rollers, tubes and burner elements. Light but mechanically strong, Haldenwanger products are suited for fast firing and offer a thin, self-supporting design. Their higher thermal shock resistance allows for increased heating rates. Tubes made from alumina material have a variety of opening and flange options up to a maximum outside diameter of 16” (410 mm).
