Following the sale of some of the activities of its portfolio — including its BEI Kimco, BEI Sensors, Kavlico, Crydom and Newall brands to Sensata Technologies, Attleboro, Mass. — Custom Sensors & Technologies reorganized. As of December 1, InnoVista Sensors was created with the Crouzet Aerospace, Crouzet Automation, Crouzet Control, Crouzet Motors, Crouzet Switches and Systron Donner Inertial commercial brands. Based in Thousand Oaks, Calif., InnoVista Sensors manufactures industrial sensors, controllers and actuators for automated systems.
Bühler Aeroglide, Cary, N.C., appointed Joe Tordella as area sales manager for North America. He will manage sales for North American food segments, including the snack and ready-to-eat cereal markets.
St. Louis -based Watlow introduced a new logo and branding for the company. Watlow designs and manufactures industrial heaters, temperature sensors, controllers and supporting software for process applications.

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, received an ISASecure Security Development Lifecycle Assurance (SDLA) conformance certificate from exida LLC, an ISASecure ISO 17065-accredited certification body. According to the ISA Security Compliance Institute (ISCI), the first-of-its-kind certificate applies to Schneider Electric’s Process Automation business product development centers in Foxboro, Mass., Worthing, U.K., and Hyderabad, India. It is based on international cybersecurity standards and was developed to accelerate industry-wide cybersecurity improvement for industrial automation and control systems.
Jürgen Brandes was appointed CEO of Siemens’ Process Industries and Drives Division. The division bundles Siemens’ electrification and automation offerings for customers in the process industries.
The AIM ST6700 wireless steam trap monitor from Armstrong International, Three Rivers, Mich., achieved ISA100 Wireless certification from the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute, Research Triangle Park, N.C. The wireless device monitors steam-trap operation, identifying conditions that could lead to significant problems.

Cemtrex, Farmingdale, N.Y., acquired industrial services company Advanced Industrial Services Inc. (AIS) and its affiliate subsidiary companies based in York, Pa. AIS offers one-source expertise and capabilities in plant and equipment erection, relocation and disassembly. It will continue to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cemtrex.
