Two direct gas-fired batch ovens will be used for tempering tire molds at an automotive supplier.

The industrial ovens, designed by Wisconsin Oven Corp., East Troy, Wis., have a load capacity of 6,000 lb and incorporate features to ease loading and unloading of the tire molds by fork truck. Each tempering batch oven has a maximum operating temperature rating of 800°F (427°C), work-chamber dimensions of 5 x 5 x 8' and a 6" insulated floor. The heating system has an industrial air heat burner rated at 850,000 BTU/hr.
