Nationwide Boiler Inc., Fremont, Calif., started production on a boiler that will, according to the company, surpass the previous capacity for the largest trailer-mounted mobile boiler ever built.

The 125,000 lb/hr low NO_X O-type boiler, which is being built by Babcock & Wilcox, will be mounted on a custom six-axle low boy trailer. It will provide a range of operating pressures for saturated steam applications from 250 to 675 psig. The boiler should be ready for service this fall.
