Compass SSU offers high flow capacity and eight optional control modes. The circulator also has a threaded union connection that can adapt to copper, PEX or CPVC piping. The circulator has ECM motors that allow it to reduce energy use and related carbon emissions over fixed-speed circulators. Other features include 50 and 60 Hz designs; up to 20 gal/min (1.26 L/s) flow or up to 20’ (6.1m) head; and 5 to 45 W power range.
