Emerson will purchase Pentair’s Valves & Controls business of Pentair for $3.15 billion following an agreement between the two companies. The complementary acquisition provides Emerson with global presence in control, isolation, pressure-relief valves and actuation.

Headquartered in Switzerland, the Pentair Valves & Controls business has a global installed base in chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other process industries.  The company’s product brands include AndersonGreenwood, Crosby, Vanessa, Keystone and Biffi. This deal follows the company’s recent divestitures of Network Power, LeroySomer and Control Techniques for a total of $5.2 billion.
