The oven datalogging system is designed to help finishers verify and control curing temperatures in conveyor and box ovens. CurveX incorporates an extra-large touchscreen to allow users to operate the logger and evaluate test results on the large color screen. The temperature logger can display information such as cure index, maximum temperature and a complete graph of the cure profile. Up to 10 batches can be stored and evaluated on the instrument without downloading the data to a computer. The touchscreen also allows the user to create and edit paint types, change logging intervals, program start/stop triggers and configure the memory. A standard USB port is used to download data to a computer, to a USB-memory stick and also to charge the internal battery. To evaluate the data, each system is supplied with a software program developed and dedicated to quality-control processes in the coating industry.
