An electrically heated oven to be used for aging aluminum was shipped to an aerospace parts manufacturer. The system, built by Wisconsin Oven Corp., East Troy, Wis., will replace an antiquated oven that was having difficulties meeting AMS 2750E Class 2 specifications.
With a maximum temperature rating of 650°F (344°C), the oven is constructed with tongue-and-groove insulated panel assemblies. The recirculation system utilizes combination airflow to maximize heating rates and temperature uniformity of the product.
This will be the third industrial oven supplied to this company by Wisconsin Oven. It was fully factory tested and adjusted prior to shipment.
