Four electrically heated walk-in ovens will be used by an automotive parts manufacturer to age aluminum parts. The enhanced-duty industrial ovens, manufactured by Wisconsin Oven Corp., East Troy, Wis., have a maximum operating temperature of 500°F (260°C). Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 392°F was documented with a standard nine-point profile test in an empty chamber under static operating conditions, says the oven maker.

The ovens are designed with horizontal airflow to maximize heatup rates and temperature uniformity of the product. Each of the units includes bi-parting, side-hinged, horizontal swing doors at both ends for loading and unloading of the product.
